Policemen and firefighters carried out an information campaign on water bodies, Ząbkowice Śląskie district
Policemen and firefighters from the Ząbkowice district, from 11 to 14 August, conducted an information and educational campaign on water bodies within the administrative borders of the district.
The campaign was carried out as part of the "Safe Holiday 2023" preventive campaign, aimed at improving safety in holiday resorts.
During the action, meetings were held with the holidaymakers, during which the police and firefighters talked about the dangers and threats that may occur during water recreation.
Special attention was paid to the issue of accidents involving boats or other floating equipment and the consequences of breaking the rules of safe use of water bodies.
In addition, the participants of the meetings were reminded of the dangers of jumping into water from bridges or high river banks.
The police and firefighters also distributed leaflets and brochures containing safety rules and procedures in the event of an accident or loss.
The campaign was met with great interest from holidaymakers who thanked the initiative's organisers for their commitment and the provided information.
