Boston Celtics Edge Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of Eastern Conference Finals

Durant Leads Warriors to Game 3 Victory Over Rockets

Jayson Tatum Shines in Celtics' Defensive Triumph

With a 96-83 victory in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics tightened their grip on the series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Celtics' suffocating defense held the Cavaliers to just 39% shooting from the field and forced 17 turnovers.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 24 points, followed by Jaylen Brown with 23 and Al Horford with 18. LeBron James paced the Cavaliers with 26 points, but his supporting cast struggled to find a rhythm.

The Celtics now lead the series 3-2 and have a chance to close it out in Game 6 at home on Friday. The Cavaliers, meanwhile, will need to find a way to generate more offense and slow down Tatum and the Celtics' defense if they want to extend the series to a seventh game.

Durant's Dominant Performance Propels Warriors to Victory

Kevin Durant was unstoppable in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, scoring 38 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 126-85 victory over the Houston Rockets.

Durant was particularly impressive in the first half, when he scored 25 points and helped the Warriors build a 20-point lead. The Rockets never recovered, as the Warriors' defense clamped down and held them to just 33% shooting from the field.

With the victory, the Warriors took a 2-1 lead in the series. Game 4 is scheduled for Thursday in Oakland.
