Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 4-2 in entertaining encounter

Kevin De Bruyne scores twice as champions maintain perfect start

Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the Premier League season with a 4-2 victory at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute, before Erling Haaland doubled their lead just after the hour mark. Jeffrey Schlupp pulled one back for Palace, but Riyad Mahrez restored City's two-goal advantage with 15 minutes remaining.

Odsonne Edouard made it 3-2 with a late penalty, but De Bruyne wrapped up the points for City with a stunning free-kick in the final minute.

The win sees City move to the top of the Premier League table with nine points from their opening three games, while Palace remain in 12th place with four points.
